Be your own cheerleader

“Self doubt makes you more insecure than people doubting you. Bad self-talk makes you feel worse than people talking badly about you. Self-rejection kills more dreams than actual rejection. Success is a mindset first, a set of habits second, and a physical reality third. It all starts with how you think.”

Most people wouldn’t be friends with the voice in their own head. You know, that little passive-aggressive chatterbox? “You should have worked out today”, “Everyone is looking at you”, “Stop eating an entire box of cereal before bed time”.

Jokes aside, being self-critical is important for self-improvement but most voices are self-destructive instead of instructive. You don’t need to just get out of your own way.

You need to be your own cheerleader. Success follows.
