During an interview legendary football coach Bill Belichick was asked “With all you have accomplished in your career, what is left that you still want to accomplish?”

He answered “I’d like to go out and have a good practice today. That would be at the top of the list right now.”

He was notoriously short and often sarcastic with the press, but this quote reveals why he is regarded as the greatest. The most accomplished NFL coach of all time puts his pants on one leg at a time and doesn’t look too much further beyond that. Bucket lists, vision boards, and New Year’s resolutions are great.

But things happen in the present, so give it your all.
