"I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on earth. Then I ask myself the same question." -Harun Yahya
Six in 10 young adults live within 10 miles of their childhood home and eight in 10 live within 100 miles. Now chances are, you fall into one of these categories. The gut reaction may be to defend your decision. You live in the topographical, ideological, economic hub of the universe. You hit the lottery on your birthplace, and you will not soon abandon it.
Fair enough.
Maybe you’re a part of the four in 10 or maybe you’re truly elite and you’re part of the two in 10. Congratulations. But staying in the same place doesn’t strictly tie to your zip code. When was the last time you made an intentional decision to move yourself out of stasis for a chance at something better?
That eight in 10 number may actually be too low.
