Never Too Old
“What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable” -Socrates
I turn 30 this year, and occasionally someone tells me my knees and back are going to start hurting. As if there is a genetic time bomb that erupts as soon as I blow out the candles.
If 30 is old, what does that mean about 40, 50, 60, 70, and so on?
It doesn’t mean anything, because it’s not true.
Meet Bob Becker. At the ripe age of 80 years old, Bob just completed the Badwater 135 ultramarathon. A 135 mile race through the hottest place on Earth: Death Valley. Someone needs to tell Bob about his genetic time bomb.
It should’ve gone off 50 years ago.

The last three books I read…
Only the Paranoid Survive
The Bomber Mafia
