Today’s quote belongs to none other than Australia’s finest, Nick Cave. You may know his music and band “Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds” or, if you’re like me, you know him as the guy who sings the intro to “Peaky Blinders”.

Nick has experienced great tragedy through his life that is the source of inspiration for his music and his passion project “The Red Hand Files”. These files are answers to questions submitted by fans. This quote is pulled from one of these letters. Nick talked about this project earlier this year on Stephen Colbert’s show.
