You Are The Outcome
Why no work is wasted
“No work is wasted because I am the output of the work, not the outcome” -Alex Hormozi
Go ahead and file this one right next to “life is a journey, not a destination” or “the real friends are the ones we made along the way”.
All jokes aside, saying something is a waste of time can be pretty myopic. Sure, scrolling Instagram or rewatching Friends for the fifth time may fall into that category, but going through a job interview just to get turned down doesn’t.
Learning to play the piano but messing up when you perform for a crowd wouldn’t either.
And following a diet but not hitting your weight loss goals definitely isn’t a waste of time.
If you hyperfixate on snapshot-in-time measures, you will be disappointed. If you can shift progress into a fluid, expanding ruler, you will continue to grow. It’s all goodness- don’t let it go to waste.
