You make your own luck

There are many quotes that more or less reflect this sentiment but I like this one in particular. Luck is often conflated with fiction. It’s not.

Lottery tickets do hit, you can in fact be hit by lightning, and there’s probably a four-leaf clover in your backyard.

But you probably won’t find it. Just because something is real, doesn’t mean you should try to make it real for you.

Don’t leave it to chance, make your own luck.
