You're hiding behind busy work

“A busy calendar is a hedge against existential loneliness and asking yourself deeper questions” -Chris Williamson

A bit sharp for a Tuesday morning? Put down the coffee, dump out the energy drink, and read it again. Most of our time is claimed by others and we willfully give it to them. It feels good to be busy. Busy people are hard workers, and hard work is virtuous.

It’s very easy to work hard all day, week, month, year and get nowhere closer to what you actually want. Guard that calendar. Willfully reclaim an afternoon or two to figure out what you actually want to work hard on.

This quote was pulled directly from Chris’ recent Pod with Naval Ravikant (frequently quoted in this newsletter). If you have three and a half hours to spare, you do, I’d highly reccomend it.
