There’s a 25 minute interview from 2016 of Mark Zuckerberg outlining how to build the future. He’s being interviewed by a member of Y Combinator, a prestigious startup incubator in the Bay Area that is responsible for creating some of Silicon Valley’s biggest technology companies.

It’s a great interview with tons of great insight, this quote is pulled directly from it. What’s even more fascinating is who is interviewing him. At the time, he was less than a year into his own startup working on the future of AI. If you watched this back in 2016 he would have been an afterthought in the video. To be honest, if you watched the video in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and most of 2022 you’d think the same thing.

But now Sam Altman, the founder behind ChatGPT, is just as recognizable as Zuckerberg. It’s worth the watch.
